The beginning of the holidays<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

In the periods June 27-26, 2020 and June 20-21, 2019, we collected information about Polish tourists. <\/strong><\/em>Where did the Poles go on vacation?<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Three towns in various regions of Poland were selected for analysis<\/strong>, which are attractions for Polish tourists: W\u0142adys\u0142awowo (holidays by the sea), Gi\u017cycko (Masuria Lake District) and Karpacz (Karkonosze).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The analyzed were mobile device users<\/strong> who have a Polish SIM card and the Polish language set in the phone. Additional variables were the fact of staying in the researched towns for a minimum of 2 days in the analyzed period and another night zone (night zone = home zone, location where users usually stay between 8 p.m. and 8 a.m.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We observed an increase in the number of Polish tourists in all three researched towns. The largest number of tourists from Poland in the first week of summer 2020 among the surveyed cities was observed:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
