Again, we have become a strategic partner of the #FindTimeForReading campaign, run by the Common Reading Foundation, with the organizers Booktarg, Legimi, LubimyCzytac.pl, and Allegro. As in April, Selectivv is now giving its knowledge and resources to promote this important campaign. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As our latest research<\/a>, the pandemic has influenced our moving around. Increasing the restrictions means that the inhabitants of the examined cities do not stray too far from their place of residence. This suggests that we stay at home more often, taking advantage of study or remote work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201c\u201cWe understand how important reading is for the development of children, also with parents. We are happy to engage in valuable social campaigns, such as #FindTimeForReading. We believe that, together with the Foundation, we will manage to persuade recipients to find time to read with their children. Cooperation between Selectivv and the Foundation for Common Reading<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our Research<\/a> shows an increase in people using mobile applications. Based on data from the periods December 2019 - April 2020 and March 2019, you can see how the activity of children and adolescents on mobile devices has changed. Children and adolescents are among the mobile users. As Maria Deskur, President of the Board of the Universal Reading Foundation, said - \u201cIncreased use of a smartphone is not healthy for children. A child's development and emotional stability are based on healthy and strong relationships with family and peers that cannot be built through the screen. Reading books and talking together is scientifically proven (and at the same time accessible to everyone!) Method of ensuring the child's comprehensive development: emotional, social, cognitive.<\/em>\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

That is why we are pleased to re-engage in the campaign with the Universal Reading Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
