Did Poles leave for Easter en masse? Over 3.5 million people decided to travel. Our research clearly shows that the restrictions and the raging pandemic have lost the prospect of spending time with the family in many cases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Do Poles listen to the recommendations regarding Easter?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The holiday season has been a nationwide test of responsibility for a year. Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki appealed to spend Easter in the closest circle. However, as it turns out, not everyone obeyed the recommendations. Will the behavior of Poles soon have an impact on the morbidity charts in Poland? We will find out in a few weeks, but - what is reassuring, the number of travelers has decreased over the last two years. The data shows that those mentioned above 3.5 million Poles is 26% less than in 2019 when we moved freely, and 19% less than in 2020. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Interestingly, Poles traveled shorter distances than two years ago. Consequently, we recorded a decrease in length from 179 kilometers in 2019 to 170 kilometers in 2021. This was probably due to the closure of many tourist facilities and restaurants. Poles decided to go for walks in parks in their free time, which was extremely popular during the holidays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Selectivv research<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The research was conducted on a sample of 786,530 unique users of mobile devices. It was observed whether they moved between the area of \u200b\u200bresidence and another voivodeship during the holidays. Monitoring the trends in 2019-2021 made it possible to obtain anonymized data presented in the study results. <\/p>\n\n\n
