Over a year has passed since we launched #SelectivvViewer for the very first time. It was supposed to be #SaaS solution for marketers to plan OOH/DOOH campaigns. Many weeks of development, implementation, tests and improvement later we are ready to announce:
Selectivv Viewer 2.0 is here - ready to boost marketing & research activities with new dimension of mobile data usage.
In the beginning, user of the tool was able to set up location (or uploaded list of location) and area around it (based on 250/500/1000 m radius). It was just one click and a few seconds to receive on the screen basic analysis and visualization on the map. It contained average daily number of users present in the area during the day (based on historical data for the past 12 months), also their demographic and user characteristics: gender, age and list of profiles.

A lot. The new functional user interface represents advanced options to set up according to the personal needs and specifications of the lead project. After logging into the system you will see your basic information and search history. The first step is to create a new project: enter a location (based on address - no coordinates needed) and radius for the area (to choose from 50/250/500/750 m) and accept - the point was added. If you are interested in research-based on multiple locations - you can add more points with different radius if needed. Also, you can compare groups of multiple locations. Next, you choose a time range for data to analyze (between last year / last quarter / last month / last week). This option is very useful and gives a wider perspective. For example, let you check the performance of the OOH / DOOH screen changing in time. Also, you can check if the investment potential of the parcel has changed - get to know changes in users' number during past year / 3 months and so on, their demography and characteristics. Last but not least, you are allowed to pick options you would like to analyze (number of users, age, gender and profiles distribution separately, heatmap and - that’s new & superhot - catchment area).

After applying & confirming all the information you will receive analysis: on the left listed parameters divided into categories (number of users, age distribution, gender distribution and so on) and on the right map with data visualization (selected locations, heatmaps around them in setup radius and catchment area). To make life easier and UX-friendly you can turn on/off options at any stage. For example, you wanted to see all data but after loading them decided to focus only on catchment area - no problem - the only thing to do is to unclick boxes with unnecessary options.

There are many possibilities and opportunities to catch. Solutions meet expectations in marketing as well as in research activities. In the advertisement, retail, trade, shopping malls, finance, real estate, FMCG, automotive dealers, public sector, and so on. Another advantage is that you can apply it at any stage of the project - at the beginning as well as in the middle, at the end, or post realizing - the sky is the limit. For example, in retail you can analyse yours and your competitors' clients (more soon - in article on catchment area); In real estate or public sector, you are able to check the location while planning investment. The tool is also useful in permanent activities - monitoring - it shows changes in time (number and characteristics of users present in/around the location).
