On behalf of the city of Łódź, our agency has prepared the most up-to-date census in this city. With the help of our technologies, we can tell exactly how many people live in Łódź. The results are surprising because they differ significantly from the official Central Staistical Office of Poland data.
The research shows that 744 628 people currently live in Łódź. 706,804 are Poles, 28,580 are Ukrainians, and Belarusians are in third place with 7,029 people. The remaining 2,215 people are of different nationalities. Most people choose an apartment in the Bałuty district (over 213,000), while in Downtown over two times less - 100,000.
The inhabitants of Łódź most often choose the Katedralna estate (67,000), then Bałuty-Centrum (66,000) and Bałuty-Doły (53,000).
The Selectivv research, thanks to the technologies used and proprietary tools, allowed to obtain very accurate data, significantly different from the public data of the Central Statistical Office. The research analysis showed that over 744.56 thousand people currently live in Lodz. The data of the Central Statistical Office indicate that the population of Łódź is over 170,000 less. The difference is due to the counting method and the tools used for this. Our agency bases its data on the mobile internet traffic of residents and people staying in Łódź. We compiled this data based on ad impressions in the mobile channel and from app publishers. We then collect information about the locations, applications, and language the person concerned uses. This way, we can determine the place of residence, work, and travel destinations. The study was conducted overnight to ensure the reliability of the results.

The CSO uses the 2011 census. Since then, it has been updating the current data on births, deaths, and migrations.
