Cloud computing and related technologies are constantly growing, which enables companies to scale up their operations. This year, we heard the declarations of technological giants, Microsoft and Google. They assume investments of 1 billion and almost 2 billion dollars in cloud computing in Poland. As Mark Loughran, CEO of Microsoft Poland commented, it is our country that may be the technological center of Europe. On the other hand, the director of Google Cloud business development in Poland and Central and Eastern Europe, Magdalena Dziewguć, said that the Google Cloud region in Warsaw will be the same type of infrastructure as in other locations in Europe and in the world - in Zurich, London, Tokyo or Los Angeles (from Business Insider).

Cloud computing is a data processing model available at the user's request. These include data warehouses (such as Google Drive or OneDrive), but also many other services that use the great computing power of servers in the cloud. During the Cionet Co-CEO Selectivv discussion panel, Dominik Karbowski had the opportunity to exchange our GCP experiences.
